DIKY-- Short for "Do I Know You?"
After making pictures part 2, I went through a major art block. Terribly enough, it lasted a whole ass year.
Disappointed by the original version made in July, I challenged myself by remaking it traditionally, which is done for the drawing and inking process. Then the next couple months were left
on figuring out how to color the comic.
Finishing this comic was a major accomplishment. After months of frustration and phases of almost giving up on art,
this brought me back on track. I've also had thoughts of Beast Tachigin for ages, and I'm glad that this comic brought a lot of my little headcanons to life.
Throughout 2024, i also watched a lot of films from Hong Kong New Wave Era. So I also made this as a homage to the movies I enjoyed.

DIKY Character design I made Tachihara a biker bcs I want to see him stray away from the hunting dog/port mafia life after the death of Beast Dazai. References are mostly taken from western bikers rather than japanese biker gangs aka bosozoku for certain reasons (its not just abt the symbol)
Beast gin's design is literally perfect so I didnt wanna change anything :)
